DIY Laundry Detergent

Make Laundry Detergent that will last 6 MONTHS! That’s right I said six months. I’m a huge Pinterest junkie, back in 2012 I found an article about a mother of 5. This mother of five was constantly buying laundry detergent and wanted a solution. Well she found this amazing recipe that lasted. This recipe has worked for me since I’ve read the article. You need less then a cup per wash and the recipe makes a tote worth of soap.

What you’ll need:

  1. 2 boxes of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda
  2. One Box of Arm & Hammer Washing Soda
  3. One LARGE Container of Purex Scent Crystals
  4. One tub of Oxi Clean
  5. One Box of Borax
  6. 2 bars of Zote Washing Soap or Fels Naptha ( put in microwave until bubbling then break apart)

Mix These ingredients in a tub and this will be the best soap you’ll ever use! Check out below to order all of the ingredients directly or check out your local Walmart or Publix.
